Brian’s Corner April 2018

I walked around the house the other day looking at what needs to be done, what I would like to get done on top of the that, I mean what Karen wants to get done, and then what I would like to get done.  Summer isn’t very long around here.  I lived in and around Vancouver for a big part of my life and compared to there, around here summer is fleeting.
I see Karen mentioned that she dragged me down to Myrtle Beach with the promise of warm weather and dry, fast fairways and greens.  I suppose once we got through the frost delays and clothed ourselves for the winds, we played some decent golf.  I birdied the first hole twice in three rounds so that was fun, and we did get to swing our clubs and lose a few balls so the golfing was great.  We’d walk a mile or so down the beach to a little restaurant that served up 75 Cent raw oysters with $3 beers for happy hour.

I haven’t been all that busy on the Herbs front for a couple of months while I re-package, re-evaluate, and re-order for Oscar’s Essentials.  I’m also looking at packaging Teas and maybe other products for say poultices, salves – things like that.  I’ve also always loved playing around with creams and lotions.  Karen loves my original hand and face cream so I’m playing around with recipes.  Herbal soaps and shampoos, deodorants, and other things.  Hey – it’s keeping my mind active and my body more or less healthy.
