Wow – neither of us has blogged since August! That’s crazy because it feels like a couple of weeks ago since I posted Brian’s Blog for August. Now, all of a sudden, we’re staring down Christmas and that whole thing, and then a few days later we start it all over again. Where do the years go?
In other news, it was a record low today for a November 13th. Apparently not just in Cambridge, but in most of North America. Driving down the very snowy and icy country roads the last few days, it’s not hard to miss the enormous amount of crops waiting to be harvested. Let’s pray the farmers can get them in before winter is here for real.
For all of you who read Karen’s Newsletter, first off, congratulations. I love her positivism, her elan, her ability to find some kernel of goodness in a sea of current events that defy anything I’d ever have imagined. And yet she rises above all that and gives us a glimmer of hope, a small ray of light shining into our busy lives.
