Two-thousand and seventeen. Another start to another year. An empty slate full of potential.
I joined a gym this year. It’s aptly called “Resolutions”. For the month of January it is filled with the latest and greatest equipment designed to get me into tip top shape. On February first however it turns into a bar.
I’m not sure if I told it right, but I think you catch the meaning. I don’t particularly subscribe to resolutions as such, but like Karen always says, “You’ve gotta have goals.” I like that terminology better anyway.
My goal this year is to get myself back into some sort of semblance of shape. I’m not saying I want to lose x-number of pounds or y-inches off my waist, but I want to be better today than I was yesterday in as many aspects of my existence as I can and if I can do that successfully then my goal will fall into place.
Did you know that Thyme is a wonderful herb for the lungs and bronchi? It’s a great expectorant and I’ve been using it liberally since the 4-year Junior Kindie sneezed on me when she was getting on the bus the week before Christmas. Make a cup of tea with a spoonful of dried Thyme. It’s great with a little honey. I made a Tincture of Thyme and, along with my Mullen Leaf Tincture, I’ve been able to get the stuff up and out of my lungs with success. Another method is a drop or two of Thyme Essential Oil/Olive Oil blend on the soles of your feet before bedtime. If you want additional information about Thyme or many other Herbs and Essential Oils, you can contact me anytime at firstname.lastname@example.org or my mobile at 519-242-4996.
Happy New Year!
